I normally build wheels using DT Swiss or Hope hubs (depending on the customer's preference). However, since Nextie started manufacturing their own hubs, I began using them as well. I started with my own bike (Rollingstar I MTB) and then moved on to bikes for friends. That very first set is still in use; aside from annual maintenance, they are still running perfectly. Even the bearings are original, which really speaks to the quality. We are now up to the third generation of Rollingstar hubs. The Rollingstar III road hubs are not only attractive but also feature excellent build quality and are very lightweight compared to the competition—likely thanks in part to their ceramic bearings. I have already put several of these sets into service, and more will follow. In terms of value for money, they are a much better proposition than the hubs I used previously, and they are significantly lighter to boot. I can highly recommend any of the Rollingstar hubs.
