For example, the width needs to be wider to ride more comfortably, and the design needs to be more wind-resistant to ride more quickly. NEXTIE has also been continuously developing and adapting to the needs of customers. In order to meet different riding needs, we design road carbon rims with inner widths from 18mm to 24mm and rim heights from 30mm to 65mm. We developed RX series (18mm internal width), CRX series (21mm internal width) and ARX series (24mm internal width).

Quality is what we have always guaranteed. Rigidity and deflection control are the basic points to measure the quality of a road rim. We have always controlled the deflection of premium edition road rims within 0.2mm. This is a very high accurary.

Advantage of Wider Wheels

Wide rims mean riding lighter, smaller performance tires with cushiony, high air volume and firm surface grip. Rolling resistance is lower with wider tires. Cornering grip is greatly improved. Ride comfort is greatly increased.

Aerodynamic Optimized Design

Nowadays, aerodynamic performance is one of the key factors considered when racing cyclists purchase new equipment, as the aerodynamic drag is known to be the main source of losses in cycling. The aerodynamic optimization of bicycle wheels can lead to decisive gains in running pace. For all of our CRX carbon rims, they have an optimized cross section. Please also note that choosing an appropriately sized tire for an aerodynamically optimized rim is also crucial to reducing air resistance and increasing riding speed.

Tubeless-Compatible Design

Lower rolling resistance. By eliminating the inner-tube, the friction between tire and tube is also eliminated, allowing the tire roll, flex, and conform to the road with greater efficiency.

Flat less, ride more. Flat tires are a buzz-kill. With a little sealant you can eliminate nearly all flats that would have been caused by an intrusive thorn or piece of debris.

About Tubeless Ready Wheels

Advantage 1 - Lighter: Since no tubeless tape wrapping on the Tubeless Ready wheels, the weight of Tubeless Ready wheel goes lighter than the weight of common wheel with tape wrapped;

Advantage 2 - Stronger: No holes drilling on rim bed (except valve holes) and the carbon fibers not being damaged, the rim bed would be kept integral and the strength increases;

Advantage 3 - Safe: Tubeless Ready wheels no risk of air leaking from the rim bed, the cycling stays safe and the journey could be longer than riding bike with common wheels.

Disadvantage: Needs professional maintaince in case of spoke breaking
