Description
Introduction
Gravel bikes can be ridden almost anywhere, on the road and off it. Adventure-ready features like disc brakes, additional clearance for wider tires, and comfortable geometry let these bikes adapt to everything from rugged terrain to winter exploration. These bikes are for the days when you're not sure where the journey will take you, but need the bike you know will get you there.

The KGV series of our gravel bicycle carbon rims are wider than traditional size. Wider rims allow you to go for wider tires, more comfortable.
Quality is what we have always guaranteed. Rigidity and deflection control are the most important factors in measuring the quality of a road bike rim. Because of the use of better carbon fiber materials, Toray T700+T800+T1000, and the latest manufacturing technologies, we are able to control the rigidity and deflection of premium edition road carbon rims within 0.2mm. This is a very high accuracy.
The weight of KGV 45 is only 365g. The profile drawing is as below.
Core Innovations
1. Kevlar-Infused Safety & Durability.
Traditional carbon rims can shatter upon severe impacts. By integrating Dupont Kevlar fiber into the carbon structure, the KGV 45 distributes impact energy far better. Under extreme conditions, instead of catastrophic failure, the rim will simply crack and hold its shape, keeping you safe on the trail.

2. Toray T700 + T1100 Carbon Fiber + Kevlar FIber
KGV 45 uses a combination of Carbon Fiber Toray T700, T1100 and kevlar fiber materials as its main structural material. This material system allows us to control the rigidity and deflection of the rim within 0.2mm — a very high accuracy for a gravel rim. The result is 360g only for the KGV 45, without sacrificing strength.
3. Tubeless-Compatible Design.
Lower rolling resistance. By eliminating the inner tube, the friction between tire and tube is also eliminated, allowing the tire to roll, flex, and conform to the road with greater efficiency.
Flat less, ride more. Flat tires are a buzz-kill. With a little sealant you can eliminate nearly all flats that would have been caused by an intrusive thorn or piece of debris.
Run the best pressure. Tubeless means you can run the pressure you want to maximize comfort, traction, and rolling efficiency.
4. Highly Strict Technical Test Methods — 130J (UCI Test Standard).
We applied the UCI test conditions to test KGV 45 carbon rim. The impact test result was 110J, which is a high value for a gravel bike rim. This is much higher than the UCI's baseline strength requirement for bicycle rims.
This rim could be used for Cyclocross and Gravel riding. The tire size for this model of rim is recommended at 35~ 65mm Gravel. The tire pressure is recommended at 23 ~ 70psi Gravel.
