Description
Introduction
After the Wild Dragon fat bike rim was developed and widely recognized by the market, in 2014 we introduced the Black Eagle 65mm fat bike rim in two sizes: 26-inch and 27.5-inch. See the 27.5" version →
The Black Eagle rim continues the Wild Dragon design gene and concept, maintaining high strength and riding comfort while being able to mount a narrower tire. This makes the bike more agile and controllable when riding in mountainous areas, greatly enhancing the riding experience.
The Black Eagle series was quickly recognized by the market. In 2016, we developed the Black Eagle carbon fiber Tri-Spoke wheelset based on the same platform.

The tire size for this model of rim is recommended at 3.2" to 4.5". The tire pressure is recommended at 8 to 20 psi.
Who is it for
The Black Eagle II 65 is ideal for:
Riders who want a versatile fat bike wheelset for all four seasons and mixed terrain.
Riders running 3.2" to 4.5" tires who want a lighter, more agile fat bike setup.
Anyone looking for the proven Wild Dragon platform in a narrower 65mm width.
Builders pairing it with 150mm or 197mm rear hub spacing on modern fat bike frames.
Design features
A 65mm width fits a wide range of tire sizes and keeps the ride stable across seasons.
The 34mm deep section adds rigidity for more aggressive riding styles.
A deep channel between the bead seats makes tire installation and removal easier.
A compact bead socket locks tires in tightly for reliable tubeless setup.
The aero-style triangular profile sheds dirt, mud and snow as conditions get rough.
